333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Friday Night - CO's  Parade  - Dec 4th 2015: 

When: Friday 04 Dec 20156:00pm - 9:00pm (Cadets arriving after 6:15 will be marked as late)





Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street 
Dress: Parade Dress - C1 (Dress Shirt, Tie, Tunic, Pants, Medals)

Size Samples for the SWAG Campaign will be available this Friday Night for those who are interested in purchasing 333 merchandise.

*Flying Scholarship Weekend this Saturday and Sunday at Camp Argonaut; additional details will be e-mailed to parents including the Kit List. Cadets will travel to Camp Argonaut at 8:00pm Friday night from the Armoury. Parents are to pick their cadets up at the Armoury at 2:30pm Sunday. 

Saturday - Optional Activities - Dec 5th 2015:

When: Saturday 05 Dec 2015, 8:30am - 1:00pm
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street 
Dress: Civilian Attire

Band: 8:30am - 11:00am (Open to all who want to learn an instrument)

Drill Team: 11:00am - 12:00pm (Open to all cadets who wish to improve their drill)
  
Guard: 12:00pm - 1:00pm (Open  to all Cadets Level 2 and above, Level 1 may still observe and learn for next year)

Sunday - Optional Activities - Dec 6th 2015:

When: Sunday 06 Dec 2015, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: Civilian Attire 


*New* Band: 4:00 - 6:00 pm (Additional Sunday Band Practices from 4:00-6:00pm will continue until the Band Competition in February)

Marksmanship: 6:00 - 9:00pm  


Biathlon: 6:00 - 9:00pm



*Important* All Level 1 and Level 2 Cadets must attend PSRY Training from 9:00am - 2:15pm at Brian Mulroney Hall (St. Thomas University) on Sunday December 06, 2015. This is mandatory training; Dress is Civilian Attire, lunch will be provided. Please use the side entrance on Windsor Street to enter the building. 


Monday - Flying Scholarship (Ground School) - Dec 7th 2015

NO FLYING SCHOLARSHIP - ( due to Ground School weekend)  - there will be a review sessions prior to the exam in January.. the final date will be announced.
