333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

For Cadets involved in Ground School: Please remember your Glider and Power Exams are on Saturday! Please make time to study! Dress for the day is Dress Shirt, Tie, Tunic, Pants, Boots, Wedge, Ribbons.

Band Members: Please review your Level Packages for your testing on Sunday! Your level packages may be found in the OneDrive link below!

Also, if you have an instrument at the Armoury, please bring it home with you on Friday Night, we will be at Base Gagetown on Saturday.

Lord Strathcona Medal and Legion Medal of Excellence applications are due Friday January 13th.

Sunday - Music Level Testing -  January 15 2017


When: Sunday Jan 15 2017, 9:00am - 4:00pm
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: C3
 (Turtleneck, Tunic, Pants, Boots, Wedge, etc.)


Music Level Testing: Please have your Music Level Package printed prior to your arrival. Please let us know if you are unable to print a copy. Lunch will be provided; bring your instrument, something to keep you busy, a healthy snack and a bottle of water. 

Theory Testing will be held first, then the Practical Evaluations. As we want to ensure all cadets arrive on time for testing, we will only unveil the order of testing on Sunday. The schedule will be very tight. Everyone must be present no later than 9:00 am


Additional Percussion practice will occur from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
