333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Friday Night - Regular Training - February 17, 2017

When: Friday, Feb 17 2017, 6:00pm - 9:15pm 
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: C3 (Sweater Tunic, Pants, Boots, Wedge, parka, gloves, etc.)
If you are a Band or Drill Team member, you may come in Civilian Attire.
 
Notices:

Band Members: Please bring your instruments in, we will have a small opportunity to showcase our music to the Squadron and run through our music on Friday Night. If you have an instrument at the Armoury, please bring it home with you, we will be at Base Gagetown on Saturday for competition.

Drill Team Members: There is a Drill Team Practice at 5:00pm at the Armoury. You will also have a small opportunity to perform in front of the Squadron your sequence.


Saturday - 2017 NB-PEI Band/Drill Competition - February 18, 2017

When: Saturday, Feb 18 2017, 7:15am - 5:00pm
Where: Building L-33, CFB Gagetown
Dress: C2 (Dress Shirt, Tie, Tunic, Pants, Wedge, Boots, Ribbons, etc.)
This Saturday is the 2017 NB/PEI Tri-Element Cadet Band and Drill Competition. Cadets are to be at Building L-33 in CFB Gagetown no later than 7:15 am. Dress for the day is C2, Band members, please ensure to bring your instrument and march pack, it is critical that you arrive at 7:15 am for instrument tuning. The actual competition begins at 8:00 am, our Band is the first to perform. 

Lunch will be provided for competitors only, there normally is a canteen on site for snacks. 


Sunday - Optional Activities -  February 19, 2017

When: Sunday, Feb 19 2017, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: Civilian Attire


Marksmanship: 6:00pm - 9:00pm  (Marksmanship Competition Team and Alternates Only)

Model Building: 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Flight Simulator: 6:00pm-9:00pm
