333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Saturday - Glider Famil Flying - May 20, 2017
When: Saturday, May 20 2017, 6:30am - 7:00pm
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: Civilian Attire (Bring Warm Clothing)

This event is for cadets who have signed up for Gliding during the ACR last weekend.

Cadets must arrive at the Armoury no later than 6:45am.

The bus will depart the Armoury at 7:00am with or without you on it. The tentative return time is 7:00pm, however please check the blog for updates regarding arrival times.

Please bring a lunch, snacks and water bottle for the day; supper will be provided.

It is also recommended to bring some things to pass the time on the bus (Books, Homework, Video Games, Frisbee, etc.).

Important Note: If you have a Squadron Band Instrument or other loaned equipment in your possession (disregard if participating at 130's ACR), please return it to us on Sunday between the hours of 6:00pm-9:00pm.
