333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

 Weekly Message Sept 17 - Sept 23, 2021

Sadly, all in-person training, this week, has been suspended due to a large number of new Covid cases in the province.

Virtual Training for all levels.

Friday - Fun Training night - Sept 17, 2021

When:  Friday Sept 17, 2021, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Where: Zoom call (an email will be sent to parents with all relevant call information)

Dress:  Civilian attire

Our plan is to have 2 periods. One will be presented by 2Lt Hamel. His presentation will be about his experience flying with an online WW1 flight simulation unit. This relates to our flight simulation program and will have lots of interesting historical content. The second period will be breakout sessions for each level. Each cadet will have some time to talk about themselves. We also ask that you talk about one of your hobbies or one activity you like to participate in. Like sports for example.

Sunday – Mandatory Instructor Seminar - Sept 19, 2021: (VIRTUAL!!!)

(level 5 cadets only)

When:  Sunday Sept 19, 2021, 9:00am - 4:00pm (lunch provided)

Where: Zoom call (an email will be sent to parents with all relevant call information)

Dress:  Civilian attire

This training is very important! We will spend time helping our new instructors to prepare teaching classes. The last 2 years have been really light on this type of training and this will be your chance to learn as much as you can about how to teach lessons.
