333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street 
Dress:  Appropriate Gym Attire


Important Notice: 
This Friday, we will be administering the Cadet Fitness Test to all cadets. It is highly recommended for all cadets to attend the assessment, as yearly participation is a prerequisite for all promotions beyond LAC. If you are unable to attend this Friday, there will be opportunities in the near future to make up for the assessment.    






Saturday - Optional Activities - Oct 21, 2017:

When: Saturday Oct 21 2017, 8:15am-1:00pm
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: Civilian Attire

Band: 8:15am - 11:00am
Drill Team11:00am - 1:00pm


Please bring a snack and a bottle of water if you are attending both activities.


Saturday - Fall Bottle Drive - Oct 21, 2017:

When: Saturday Oct 21 2017, 9:00am-12:00pm
Where: Fredericton Exhibition Grounds Parking Lot
Dress: Civilian Attire (Warm clothing)

Cadets who are not participating in Band or Drill Team are asked to participate in the Fall Bottle Drive. These events are one of our most successful fundraisers for the Squadron. The funds raised go directly towards many of the fun activities we do at the unit. Many hands make for light work! We hope to see as many cadets and parents assist us as possible! 







Sunday - Gliding Day #1 - 22 Oct, 2017

When: Sunday 22 Oct 2017, 6:45am - approx. 7:00pm/8:00pm (Facebook will be updated with arrival time) 
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: Warm Civilian Attire


Cadets who have signed up for Gliding Day #1 must be at the Carleton Street Armoury no later than 6:45am to take a bus to Miramichi. Please ensure to wear warm clothes, it tends to be quite cold on the runway. Also, feel free to bring something to keep you busy during the trip (books, games, homework, etc.). Finally, bring a lunch and snacks for the day, supper will be covered by the Squadron.
