333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Friday - Regular Training - Oct 27, 2017

Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street 
Dress:  C3 (Winter Dress; Turtleneck, Tunic, Pants, Boots, Wedge, etc.) or appropriate Halloween Costume.


Important Notices: 
If you would like to bring Halloween treats for the break, we certainly encourage it! Please do not bring peanuts or tree nuts as we have some members who are severely allergic. 

We will have sign up sheets available for Gliding Day #2 this Friday evening. Please ensure to sign up if you have not gone yet.

Mini Band members, please bring your instruments for this Friday's Parade Practice.
  Cadets who are applying for National Courses (Glider Pilot, Power Pilot, Airport Operations, Aircraft Maintenance, Advanced Aerospace, International Exchange) are reminded that they must bring their narrative and June 2017 report card to Capt Diotte. Applications for all other courses will be addressed in early 2018.  

Senior Cadets, we will have a short meeting this Friday night after dismissal. The meeting will end at 9:30 pm.

Dress: Civilian Attire

Band: 8:15am - 11:00am

Please bring a snack and a bottle of water if you are attending multiple activities.


Saturday - Gliding Day #2 - 28 Oct, 2017

When: Saturday 28 Oct 2017, 6:45am - approx. 7:00pm/8:00pm (Facebook will be updated with arrival time) 
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: Warm Civilian Attire


Cadets who have signed up for Gliding Day #2 must be at the Carleton Street Armoury no later than 6:45am to take a bus to Miramichi. Please ensure to wear warm clothes, it tends to be quite cold on the runway. Also, feel free to bring something to keep you busy during the trip (books, games, homework, etc.). Finally, bring a lunch and snacks for the day, supper will be covered by the Squadron.

Important Notice: This competition is for cadets who are looking to participate in the upcoming Biathlon Zone Competition (Nov. 18 in Gagetown). Lt Jennings is looking for 5-6 non-biathletes to assist in running this qualifier competition. If you are interested, please contact Lt Jennings at Ryan.jennings@cadets.gc.ca or speak to him on Friday night.
