333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

There will be regular weekly training for 333 Lord Beaverbrook, Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron, this Friday, 24 May 2013 at the Armouries from 1815-2115hrs. Note that this will be the last training night of this year. Dress is C2 (t-shirt, for all cadets).

INFORMATION REGARDING WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS - In the event of inclement weather that affects any training activity with the Squadron, please ensure to call the Squadron's info line at 454-3330 or check this website before you depart. In addition, we will make cancellation notifications at the various radio stations in Fredericton (The Fox 105.3 and Capital FM 106.9).

Upcoming events:

25 May 2013 (Saturday) - Once again, due to the heavy rain forecasted for Saturday, the Annual Roadside Cleanup Program of the Woodstock road area has been postponed once again until Saturday, 8 June 2013. Please refer back to this site further details in the next couple of weeks.

1 June 2013 (Saturday) - There will be a one day Level 5 Senior Cadet workshop happening in Moncton, NB . 4 senior cadets will be attending. Please see 2Lt Slade for further details.

15-16 June 2013 (Saturday - Sunday) - The Squadron will be conducting an overnight Air Crew Survival Exercise. Further details are being worked out at this time. Cadet will be asked to sign up for the exercise on Friday, 24 May 13.

Parents are reminded to bring your child's birth certificate as well as their Provincial Medicare Card Number with them as this will be required for enrolling your son or daughter into the program.
