333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

There will be regular weekly training for 333 Lord Beaverbrook, Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron, this Friday, 25 Oct 2013 at the Armouries from 1800-2115hrs. Dress is C1 (Dress shirt, tie, tunic, pants, boots, wedge). Poppies should be worn on uniforms this Friday.

There will be a Halloween Dance this Saturday Oct. 26th. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Guests are welcome however they are your responsibility.

Weekly Activities

Saturday October 26

Band: 0830-1100

Drill Team: 1115-1300

Guard: 1300-1400

Sunday October 27

Junior Band:1600-1730. The Junior band is open for all cadets interested in learning to play an instrument, including those without a level up to level 1 musician.

Biathlon Tryouts: 1800-2100. All cadets are welcome to tryout for the biathlon team. Cadets are reminded to wear appropriate sports attire and to bring a snack and water.

Marksmanship: 1800-2100

Flying Scholarship: 1800-2100

Parents are reminded to bring your child's birth certificate as well as their Provincial Medicare Card Number with them as this will be required for enrolling your son or daughter into the program.
