333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

** 333 is accepting new members
Spead the word, if you know anyone who is 12 -18 yrs old, wants to learn more about citizenship, teamwork, leadership, music, outdoor survival, marksmanship, biathlon, flying or sports. We are accepting new members. registration will begin on Friday - Sept 5th 2014, 6pm - 8pm at the armouries on Carleton Street There is no registration fee, and the uniform is included. Come visit, no obligation. If you wish to enroll, please ensure you have your birth certificate and medicare card with you.( we need to make a copy)


** Welcome Back
The new Training year is about to begin. I would like to welcome all returning cadets. There have been a few changes since May.

1. We now have a facebook page (www.facebook.com/333royalcanadianaircadets), Please go and LIKE the page.

2. Effective 1 Jul 2014 Captain Marcantonio became Commanding Officer of 333 RCACS.
Captain Slade and her family have pursued opporunities in PEI.
We wish her and her family all the best.
There will be an official Change of Command Parade in the coming weeks (Details will follow)


** 1st Fundraising event of 2014-15
The Sponsors of 333 Squadron have organized our Annual NBEx ( formerly known as FrEx) Parking Lot Fundraiser. on Monday, Sept 1, 2014 there will be a $5.00 donation to park at the Smythe Street Superstore Parking lot. all proceeds will go to 333 RCACS.

The first training night of the year will take place on Friday - Sept 5th 2014
It will be a short evening ( 600 - 830)

- Dress Shirt ( open Collar)
- Rank Slip ons
- Ribbons, nametag
- Pants , boots, Belt, wedge
