333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Weekly Message for 12 - 18 September 2014 

Friday - 12 September ( Armouries Not available - Meeting at Base Gym)

SPORTS NIGHT - BASE GYM - CFB GAGETOWN - 1800-2030hrs  ( 600pm-830pm)

We will be having a sports night which will include Swimming and organized sports at the Base Gym - CFB GAGETOWN 

We will have access to the pool for those who wish to swim and we will have access to the field house for those who aren't swimming.  

Cadets are asked to wear/bring their sports gear as all cadets will be doing organized sports.  The pool will be available for those who wish to also go swimming  ( APPROPRIATE SWIM WEAR REQUIRED). Also a reminder to bring your towel. 



Saturday - 13 September

Parade Band - Practice  ( for Battle of Britain mini band cadets)  D15 - 0830-1030am

Those cadets who were selected to be part of the Mini Band playing at the Battle of Britain Parade are asked to come to a special band practice at D15 ( on Base) from 0830-1030. 

Please bring your instrument with you . Those that forgot their Snare and Bass Drum at the armouries. ( we have it for you) 

*** Regular band practice will begin in the next few weeks ***

Sunday - 14 September

Battle of Britain Commemorative Service and Parade - 1230hrs - Centennial Building

Mandatory parade to commemorate the Battle of Britain.  Cadets are asked to meet at the parking lot of the Centennial Building on the corner of St John St and Brunswick downtown Fredericton.  

Cadets are to wear their Full Uniform ( C1 - See below) Those that do not have a uniform or are missing key components, please wear appropriate civilian attire  

Parents are asked to stay for the parade as it will only be approximately 1hr in duration.

Those who are involved with Flying Scholarship , please pay attention to your emails for time and location of Flying Scholarship..  Any questions please contact your Flying Scholarship Instructor.
