333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Cadet Fitness Assessment at the Armouries at 1800hrs
 
Dress: appropriate sports attire (including indoor sneakers and a water bottle)
Please remember that as of September 2014, participation in the Cadet Fitness Assessment is a prerequisite for promotion, as noted below.
 
CATO 13-02 was modified to include two new prerequisites for Cadet Promotions from Cpl up to the rank of WO2. In addition to be qualified with the requisite level of training and the time in rank, cadets must now:

• Have participated in the Cadet Fitness Assessment during the current training year; and

• Have achieved a minimum of "completed without difficulty" in the Leadership PO for the appropriate level of training.

Band: 0830-1100 at the Armouries
Drill: 1115-1400 at the Armouries
RC Flying: 1800-2000hrs at Building H12
 
CHRISTMAS FAIR at the Monsignor Boyd Family Center. 9am - 3pm.
Crafts, Baking, Silent Auction, Baskets, Coffee, etc.

 
Sunday - 30 November
Marksmanship: 1800-2100hrs at the Armouries
Biathlon: 1800-2000hrs at the Armouries
Ground School: 1800hrs at the Armouries
 
Please note that the dress for all squadron practices (Band, Drill, Guard, Marksmanship, Biathlon, etc.) is appropriate civilian attire unless otherwise indicated. Friday night training is in uniform.
