333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Parents are reminded to bring your child's birth certificate as well as their Provincial Medicare Card Number with them as this will be required for enrolling your son or daughter into the program.

Friday Night - Sports Night  - Oct 30th 2015: 

When:  Friday 30 Oct 20156:00pm - 9:15pm (Cadets arriving after 6:15 will be marked as late)
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street 
Dress: Civilian Attire (Appropriate Gym Clothes)

We will be administering the Canada Fitness Test to all cadets this Friday evening. Attendance is important as participation is a requirement for some promotions; cadets may also earn their Fitness Levels during this event.

Chocolate Bar Money MUST be brought in this Friday.

Senior Camp Narratives are due this Friday!

Saturday - Optional Activities - Oct 31st 2015:

When: Saturday 31 Oct 2015, 8:30am - 1:00pm
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street 
Dress: Civilian Attire (Cadets are encouraged to wear their Halloween Costumes!)

Band: 8:30am - 11:00am (Open to all who want to learn an instrument)

Drill Team: 11:00am - 12:00pm (Open to all cadets who wish to improve their drill)
  
Guard: 12:00pm - 1:00pm (Open  to all Cadets Level 2 and above, Level 1 may still observe and learn for next year)


Sunday - Optional Activities - Nov 1st 2015:

When: Sunday 01 Nov 2015, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: Civilian Attire 

Marksmanship: Cancelled 

Biathlon: 6:00 - 9:00pm (Still on for Sunday Evening)

Monday - Flying Scholarship (Ground School) - Nov 2nd 2015

When: Monday 02 Nov 2015, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Fredericton Airport (MFC Classroom - 2nd Floor Main Terminal Building) 
Dress: Civilian Attire
