333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Dress: C3 (Turtleneck, Tunic, Pants, Wedge, Boots, Parka, etc.)

Notes


Level 1 Cadets: Your dress for the evening will be civilian attire; please bring your complete uniform and equipment to maintain your uniform (i.e. iron, ironing board, boot polish, cloth, etc.). We will be hosting a Uniform Maintenance Seminar (Boot Camp) this Friday!

Level 3 & 4 Cadets: A reminder that your Instructional Techniques Evaluations are this Friday night. Please ensure to have a copy of your lesson plans with you for when you are instructing.

Effective Speaking: Cadets interested in participating in the Squadron Effective Speaking Competition on March 31st must bring in their prepared speeches this Friday night for a review. Cadets who are serious in competing may receive assistance with their speeches at this time.This is a great opportunity to potentially represent the squadron at the Provincial and National Level Effective Speaking Competitions! The competition is open to cadets of all ages. Additional details are found in the link below:
