333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Dress: C1 (Dress Shirt, Tie, Tunic, Pants, Wedge, Medals, etc.)


Notes 


333 Awards Gala: This event is a potluck to celebrate the achievements of our cadets in the past training year. This event is also open to family members. Please bring an accompanying dish for the potluck that can serve 3-4 people. Due to severe allergies, we ask not bring dishes containing peanut butter or tree nuts.  


333 Coffee Fundraiser: A reminder to all cadets that the money for the coffee fundraiser is due. Please bring in any funds raised to the Awards Gala.  

333 Loon Draw: A reminder to all cadets that the Loon Draw tickets are to be sold by May 14th for a chance to win a helicopter famil flight, courtesy of Advanced Heli-Flight Ltd. The top three cadet, staff, or volunteer who have raised the most will chosen for the flight. Good luck!

Please bring water and snacks (or lunch) in you are participating in more than one activity.


The Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) is next week, please make a committed effort to attend your respective practices.
