333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Important Notices: 
Mini Band members, please bring your instruments for the CO's Parade.

Parents are invited to stand to the side and watch the CO's Parade, there will be a number of promotions you may not want to miss. The CO's Parade will begin shortly after 8:00pm.  

To all cadets, from your Supply Officer (Lieutenant Jennings):
Please ensure your parka fits properly and if not please see Lieutenant Jennings to have a new one fitted.

Please make sure your level and summer camp badges have been sewn on your tunic for the CO's parade on Friday.

Also note that the poppy campaign begins on Friday. All cadets need to wear a poppy on their uniform this Friday until the Nov 11th parade.

Saturday/Sunday - Western NB Music Seminar - Oct 27 - 28, 2018

When: Oct 27, 2018 (8:30am - 4:00pm), Oct 28, 2018 (8:30am - 3:00pm)
Where: Building N-126, Camp Argonaut (CFB Gagetown)
Dress: Saturday
C4 (Blue T-Shirt, Tunic, Pants, Boots, Wedge, Ribbons, etc.) Wear your parkas! It's cold!
           Sunday: Civilian Attire (Please notice the change in dress)

Bring: Water bottle, instrument and music folder / pencil

Band members who have registered for the Band Seminar must be at the Band Building (N-126) no later than 8:30am on Saturday and Sunday. Lunch will be provided both days. Cadets are to be  picked up promptly at 4:00pm on Saturday and 3:00pm Sunday. Please be sure to bring your instrument. Evaluations (both Theory and/or Performance) will be available for those who are looking to challenge for their Cadet Music Levels. These Music Proficiency Levels are valuable for those looking to apply for a music camp this summer.


Saturday - Gliding Day #2 - Oct 27, 2018

When: Saturday Oct 27, 2018, 6:45am - approx. 7:00pm/8:00pm (Facebook will be updated with arrival time) 
Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street for departure
Dress: Warm Civilian Attire

Cadets who have signed up for Gliding Day #2 must be at the Carleton Street Armoury no later than 6:45am to take a bus to Miramichi. Please ensure to wear warm clothes, it tends to be quite cold on the runway. Also, feel free to bring something to keep you busy during the trip (books, games, homework, etc.). Finally, bring a lunch and snacks for the day, supper will be covered by the Squadron.

Marksmanship: 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Sunday - Fitness Test  - Oct 28, 2018

This is for cadets who have not completed their fitness test. Remember that promotions are dependent on cadets participating.
