333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Saturday - NB-PEI Band / Drill Competition - Apr 27, 2019:
When: Saturday Apr 27, 2019, 7:30am - 5:00pm (end time may vary)
Where: Building L-33, CFB Gagetown
Dress: C1 (Dress Shirt, Tie, Tunic, Pants, Boots, Wedge, Medals, etc.) 


Cadets participating in the Band and Drill competition must arrive at 7:30am, Building L-33 at CFB Gagetown in their C1 uniform. It is important for cadets to arrive on time. Instruments will be tuned upon arrival.

Boxed lunches are provided to competitors.



Sunday - Optional Activities - Apr 28, 2019

Where: Carleton Street Armoury - 3 Carleton Street
Dress: Civilian Attire


Marksmanship: 6:00pm - 9:00pm (for everybody who wants to participate)
