333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Cadets will be participating in the squadron Holiday Turkey Shoot for this last night of Friday training for this year. Be sure to wear your ugliest holiday sweater if you have one!


Level 4's are to have their Activity Plan typed and printed for evaluation this Friday. This includes Activity Name, Description, Material List, Location, Human Resource Requirement, Responsibilities of each Level 4 Cadet, Activity Timings and Schedule, and Safety considerations.

This will be the last night to bring in money from coffee sales!
