333 Fredericton Air Cadet Squadron was chartered on the 16th of October 1943 and was originally formed as a high school squadron. In 1958, Lord Beaverbrook, then Chancellor of the University of New Brunswick, gave the squadron permission to carry his name. A native of N.B., Lord Beaverbrook had been Minister of Aircraft Production in Winston Churchill’s cabinet during World War II. The Squadron was also named as the permanent custodian of Lord Beaverbrook’s personal coat of arms designed by Rudyard Kipling in 1917.

Friday - Final Parade (ACR) - May 13, 2022

When:  Friday May 13, 2022, 6:00pm - 7:45pm

Where: The Ville (241 Canada St. Northside Fredericton)

Dress:  C1 Ceremonial Dress (Dress Shirt, Tie, Tunic, Pants, Boots, Wedge, Medals, etc.)

Cadets are asked to be at The Ville Cooperative (241 Canada Street) in C-1 Uniforms (Ceremonial Dress; Dress shirt, tie, tunic, pants, boots, wedge, medals, etc.) from 6:00pm until 7:45pm. During which, we will have a fall-in procedure, a quick inspection, have an award ceremony and present graduation certificates to some very deserving cadets. We also ask that cadets of the rank of FSgt and above to be there at 5:45pm if possible. 

Parents will be able to attend the event if they wish, we ask that there is a limit of two guests/parents per family as per our updated COVID-19 directives. A reminder that masks must be worn at all times (cadets and parents alike), social distancing will be maintained as much as possible during the ceremony. Proof of vaccination is no longer required at the door, however we ask that your cadet remains home if they present symptoms of COVID-19 or has been in close contact with a case. We will continue to keep a contact tracing log and notify if there has been an identified case during the event. 

 

Saturday Community Roadside Cleanup - May 14, 2022

When: Saturday, May 14, 2022, 9:00am-12:00pm

Where: Valley Ridge Furniture (3672 NB-102, Island View, NB E3E 1G2)

Dress: Civilian Attire  


Cadets will be volunteering in a Community Roadside Cleanup along Route 102. The drop-off and pick up location is at Valley Ridge Furniture's parking lot (3672 Route 102, Island View NB). Cadets will be briefed on hazardous materials (i.e. sharps, glass, etc.) prior to the sweep. Sports pinnies to increase visibility and gloves will be provided for cleanliness.
